Bob Bryar, star of My Chemical Romance, was sadly discovered dead at the age of 44 at his home.

Fans may remember Bryar best for being the American rock band’s longest-tenured drummer. He was 44 years old when he passed away.

Authorities visited the musician’s house on Wednesday (November 27) and verified his death, according to TMZ.

The drummer was last seen alive on November 4, according to the magazine. According to law enforcement authorities, a medical examiner is now establishing the cause of death for the drummer, and foul play is not thought to have contributed to Bryar’s death.

Animal Control personnel took the drummer’s two dogs out of the house after the tragic discovery.

Bryar was a gifted drummer who was instrumental in the international success of My Chemical Romance.

After taking Matt Pelissier’s place in the band in 2004, he immediately gained recognition for his dynamic and forceful drumming.

The band’s music was greatly influenced by Bryar’s drumming, especially on their breakthrough album, The Black Parade (2006).

The band’s position in the alternative music scene was cemented by his contributions to this album as well as his work on later MCR recordings, such as Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys and Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge.

Regretfully, Bryar departed from My Chemical Romance in 2010 for private reasons. According to reports, Bryar didn’t like the band’s Danger Days album’s approach.

“My Chemical Romance and Bob Bryar parted ways as of 4 weeks ago,” the band said in a statement at the time of Bryar’s departure.

We all had to make this difficult choice, and it was not made lightly. We hope he succeeds in his future pursuits, and we hope you all will too.”

Conventional Weapons, the band’s 2013 last album, included his last contribution to the group. Before leaving the music business in 2014 to focus on a career in real estate and animal rescue, Bryar would tour with a number of bands.

He would often auction off valuable mementos from his time in “The Black Parade” to support his love for animal rescue.

Sadly, Bryar would often express his resentment at leaving the band to fans on social media. He said on Twitter in 2015: “I was expelled from MyChem around five years ago.

“I became the most depressed, angry, suicidal person ever.” He admitted to admirers that he was “on so many pills” in a different tweet, saying, “It still bothers me every day.” I was informed recently that I wouldn’t be returning.

‘Famous Last Words’ music video was shot when Bryar was in the hospital during his time with the band. His leg was severely burned, and a nasty infection eventually developed.

The surviving members of My Chemical Romance, Gerard Way, Ray Toro, Mikey Way, and Frank Iero, are scheduled to tour next year, although Bryar has not rejoined the group since leaving.

Fans are paying homage to Bryar in the comments area of the band’s most recent Instagram post. James Dewees and Matt Pelissier are other former band members. At this time, we are sending our condolences to Bryar’s family, friends, and fans.
