Dad and Uncle Found Dead as Search for Missing 7-Year-Old Boy Continues After Boat Disappeared

The hunt for a little child who went missing in Alabama on Friday during a tragic shrimping excursion will continue, Mobile County Sheriff Paul Burch said Monday.

MCSO and its allies would search for 7-year-old Hunter Slezak for as long as possible, Burch said. While shrimping on Dauphin Island on Friday night.

Hunter, his father Michael Slezak, and Sam Wooley vanished. A US Coast Guard team discovered Michael and Sam’s remains on Saturday.

Burch said, “I will say that we will continue as long as we are able to continue.” “And you know, I don’t plan on suspending anything until we find the boat.

But some of the things that might be involved may require more specialized equipment than we have.”

Burch speculated that the boy could have been trapped in the boat’s cabin when it overturned. Despite the discovery of debris, MCSO searched all day Monday for Hunter and the boat, which has also not been discovered.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), Dauphin Island Police Department, Marine Resource Division, and Baldwin County ALEA.

Were among the entities that provided assistance to MCSO. Drones, a helicopter, and boating boats were among the tools employed in the hunt.

Community volunteers are welcome, but Burch requested them to communicate with the MCSO’s dispatch. Burch added, “I do ask anybody who sees this to pray for this family.”
