Dan Hennessey, a cartoon voice actor, passed away at age 82.

According to Dan’s family, he passed away at home on Wednesday while sleeping due to problems related to Parkinson’s condition, TMZ reports.

You’ve undoubtedly heard his voice beforeā€”he provided the voices of Braveheart on “The Care Bears.”

Father Bear on “Little Bear,” George Raccoon on “The Raccoons,” and Chief Quimby on “Inspector Gadget.”

According to TMZ, seasoned Canadian voice actor Dan Hennessey, who portrayed a number of well-known animated characters, passed away.

In addition, he provided the voice of several additional characters, such as those in “RoboCop,” “Babar,” “Beetlejuice,” and “X-Men: The Animated Series.”

According to Dan’s family, he was “an incredible son, brother, husband, father, friend, and performer.”

The family continues: “We are very moved by everyone who has shared with us how his art, which includes stage, voice acting, and directing, has affected them.

By lending his voice to well-known animated characters like Fatherbear and Braveheart Lion, who personified his amiable and vivacious nature, he consoled a generation of children worldwide, and for that we are grateful.”

We know no braver heart than his. Dan’s loving family consists of his wife Patricia, daughters Skye and Eden, and other family members.
