Following a terrifying hit during the Texans game, Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence is “home and feeling better.”

Trevor Lawrence of the Jacksonville Jaguars is providing fans with an update after a head injury he sustained on Sunday, December 1.

“I appreciate everyone who has prayed for me and reached out. I feel better now that I’m at home. “Thank you all 🙌🏻, it means a lot,” he tweeted on Sunday.

Hours after Lawrence, 25, was brutally struck by Houston Texans linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair at EverBank Stadium in Florida,

The uplifting message was sent. Following the tackle, Lawrence lay on the ground for a number of minutes before being carried off the field.

The Jaguars and Texans got into a fight on the field after the hit, which caused Lawrence to be sidelined for the remainder of the game due to a concussion.

In the end, Al-Shaair, 27, and two Jaguars players, cornerback Jarrian Jones and tight end Evan Engram, were dismissed from the game.

“Look, it’s a play that nobody wants to see in our league obviously because you see what happens after the fact and it just escalates,”

Said Doug Pederson, head coach of the Jaguars, in response to the “unfortunate” event on Sunday. Indeed, that is regrettable.

“I’m just relieved that Trevor will be okay,” he said. Although it is a terrible play, he will undoubtedly be included in the protocol.

Following the game, Lawrence and his wife, Marissa Mowry, were seen exiting the locker area. She sent a message on social media to thank the fans for their overwhelming support.

She posted on Sunday, “Thank you for all the prayers and texts.” “We appreciate all the love and support, but we’re just taking some time to make sure he’s okay and gets healthy.”

After being married in April 2021, the pair revealed in June that they were expecting their first child. Lawrence has spoke candidly about his aspirations to become a parent in an interview with Us Weekly.

“I’m not sure when that will happen. In June 2023, he made an exclusive announcement: “I think we’re going to wait a little while.”

We have just relished the freedom from the burden of raising children at this time. … Not in the near future, but in the future, I would say.

Thus, most likely in the next years. Before we kind of settle down, we want to travel and be able to do all of that. Right now, we’re just enjoying where we are.

In fifth grade, Lawrence and his future wife first crossed paths, and in high school, they started “dating seriously.”

Before Lawrence was “pretty confident” that he had discovered The One, their relationship was “off and on for a while.”

“Having someone at your side throughout all the many experiences we’ve had is enjoyable. It’s been cool.

She and I have been friends for a long time. It’s been enjoyable, he told Us, “and we’ve kind of seen the best and the worst in each other.”

Getting to know her more has been an amazing experience. That is not something I would exchange for anything.
