Most individuals have a limit on how much they will spend to have anything done to themselves, and for most people, that limit is much lower than what Ethan was prepared to pay.
According to accounts, Ethan chose to have his ears stretched as his first body alteration when he was only 11 years old.
He has now had other operations, such as having his belly button removed and his tongue split. But the greatest attention is drawn to his tattoos,
Which isn’t surprising considering how completely covered he is. Ethan said that, in all, he had spent around $60,000 AUD (about $39,000 UD) to get his current appearance.
However, he has since shown some remorse for his previous decisions. He said on LadBibleTV’s No Filter series,
“I suppose you could say I regret some tattoos.” “I believe that regret and wanting to be seen differently are two different things.”
Ethan continued by saying that he is concerned about the criticism he may get while carrying out certain everyday duties, including dropping his little daughter off at school.
“For some people, but not for everyone, the face is a big thing that can lead to so many – can lead to a lot of problems for yourself,
Which I probably wouldn’t want my daughter to have to deal with until she was a bit older,” he said. “I wish I hadn’t gotten so worked up on my face.”
Ethan has been having excruciating laser surgery to try to undo some of the tattoos he received as a child in an effort to improve his appearance.
“I’ve been getting laser [surgery], or have been, for pretty much 12 months,” he stated. I’ve probably gone over the whole thing six or seven times, but we do it in chunks.
Because of the anxiousness and other things I was experiencing, I began finishing it. It’s hard to pinpoint mental health issues, but I’d like to believe that having a lot of tattoos on my face contributed to my anxiety.
“I’m content with my appearance, but I’m also content with the mindset that my facial tattoos will gradually disappear over the course of the next two years. All I’m doing is cleaning the canvas.
