It appears that Britney Spears just moved to Mexico after years of residing in the greater Los Angeles region, and she is now giving an explanation for her departure.
The legendary pop singer said in an Instagram video that she left the nation (for the time being, at least) due to the negative self-perception she has experienced as a result of media attention.
Without mentioning any recent pictures, she stated in the video, “It really kind of hurts my feelings that the paparazzi make my face look like I’m wearing, like, a white Jason mask.”
“It doesn’t resemble me at all. The paparazzi, the photos, and the way they depicted me in parts of it have all been quite hurtful to me.
Britney said, “That’s why I’ve moved to Mexico,” after bringing up the “extremely mean and cruel” abuse she’s had at the hands of photographers.
I hope Britney finds some peace in this world, as usual. She has undoubtedly experienced a great deal!
