Travelers are being warned immediately about a fatal infection that causes eye bleeding.

Fifteen individuals have already been murdered by a nasty virus that resembles Ebola and causes eye bleeding.

There are other viruses that are now spreading across Africa, and one of them, mpox, which doesn’t cause bleeding.

But is very infectious and creates a rash, has found its way to Leeds and affected one person. As a result, travelers are being warned.

In Rwanda, hundreds of individuals are thought to be infected with the Marburg disease, which is also known as the “bleeding eyes” virus because of one of its symptoms.

The illness, which is considered to be among the worst in the world and has a 50/50 risk of fatality, is said to be on the verge of spreading to neighboring African nations.

Marburg “is rare and very unusual in travelers, but sporadic cases have been reported in travelers who spent prolonged periods in mines or caves inhabited by bat colonies,” according to a warning from Travel Health Pro.

It may spread by contact with mucous in the mouth, nose, and eyes as well as through open wounds.

According to the World Health Organization, Marburg may begin suddenly and has an incubation period of two to twenty-one days.

Fever, excruciating headaches, extreme malaise, and muscular aches and pains are some of its symptoms.

Later symptoms may include non-itchy rash, nausea, vomiting, cramping and discomfort in the abdomen, and severe watery diarrhea.

More horrifying symptoms may begin to appear after the sixth day. These include: internal bleeding, disorientation, irritability, hostility, or inflammation of the testicles.

New blood in the vomit and feces; and bleeding from the nose, gums, vagina, eyes, mouth, and ears.

People are at danger of dying if symptoms persist for an extended period of time, often as a result of shock or major blood loss.
