When Liam Payne fell to his death, he was attempting to flee from the hotel balcony.

Payne was trying to leave the hotel when he passed away, according to the 911 call, police report, and video footage. The hotel knew that he had threatened to use the balcony as a means of escape, yet they still left him alone in his room.

Payne detested being confined to hotel rooms and had previously escaped by using a hotel balcony; according to insiders, the singer had done so as recently as mid-September, just before he passed away.

His security had previously confined the artist in a hotel room when he was renting a house in Florida because he thought he was high. Using a garden hose as a rope, Payne fled the house via the balcony.\

uploaded snippets of the camera tape from the CasaSur Palermo Hotel in Buenos Aires, which showed three staff members forcibly carrying Payne back to his room after he had been disruptive in the hotel lobby.

Payne is seen straining and refusing to return to his hotel room in video that shows him outside his room with the staff.

The singer was led inside his room by the staff personnel using a master key. The police report states that the staff took a mirror out of the corridor outside his room, most likely to prevent him from breaking it.

The singer may have communicated his escape plan because only minutes later, one of the staff members contacted 911 and expressed concern that he would hurt himself by jumping from the balcony.

“I don’t know whether his life may be in danger,” the 911 call transcript said. We’re a bit scared since he’s in a room with a balcony.

After that, he was abandoned in the hotel room, where he tragically passed away. He had a backpack wrapped across his shoulder when they discovered his corpse, which he had not worn in the lobby, suggesting that he was attempting to flee.

Near the corpse, police also discovered a hat. He must have worn the hat in the hotel room since he was not wearing one in the lobby.

The 31-year-old reportedly attempted to leap from the third-story balcony to the second-story balcony, with the intention of jumping to the earth from there.

According to the police report, two days after his death, a hotel employee discovered a bag on the second floor with a note that said “for Liam” and included a bottle of Jack Daniel’s and many medications, which lends credence to this allegation.

According to the police investigation, this bag belonged to Payne, thus the singer most likely tossed it onto the balcony below and tried to do the same. The coroner’s report states that Payne was not conscious at the time of his fall.
