Following the abduction of their pregnant relative, members of a distraught Indiana family are pleading with the public for information. On October 10, 2024,
Emma Baum, a 25-year-old mother of four, was last saw at her boyfriend’s home in Gary. She was severely pregnant at the time and was probably going to give birth in a few days.
The family has made public appeals in the hopes of securing Emma Baum’s and potentially her newborn baby’s safe return.

According to her family, they have exhausted all possible options. During a news conference on November 15, Abigale Smith said, “We are searching for my sister.” She was 1 centimeter dilated on October 4.
Since October 10, she has not been seen. Smith claimed that after exhausting all other options, she and her family are now pleading with the public for assistance.

Emma Baum’s mother commented, “Her babies need her.” Jamie Baum thinks her daughter’s absence had anything to do with her lover.
Gary Police Commander Jack Hamady said that while he has been arrested, it has nothing to do with Emma Baum’s abduction since he did not show up for a warrant in a separate matter.
According to the Post, Jamie Baum just wants her kid back, regardless of the boyfriend’s possible participation.
During the press conference, she said, “I want my daughter to come home.” “We are missing her. She is essential to her children. She is needed by her family.
As part of their search, police are examining video recordings. On October 28, eighteen days after her last sighting, Emma Baum was reported missing.
Three locations that have proven important throughout the investigation have been the focus of police search operations.
Additionally, they want to examine camera footage from the locations where the expectant woman was last seen.
Emma Baum is around 136 pounds, 5’3″, and often wears wigs. She has brunette hair by nature.
Emma also received a message from Smith. Emma Baum’s mother sent encouragement in case she vanished on her own will. According to the Post, she added, “We love you, Emma.”
And nothing you have done has caused any of us to cease loving you, if you are able to hear us. “We have faith that someone is knowledgeable,” Smith said.
