Caitlyn played the role of a father who lived in a house full of contentious and demanding ladies. The star’s popularity was fueled by her easygoing demeanor.
Then, however, everything was different. In April 2015, Caitlyn came out as a transgender woman in a 20/20 interview with Dianne Sawyer.
She talked about how she had struggled with gender dysphoria since she was a child. Her final statement,
“For all intents and purposes, I’m a woman,” officially signaled her change of gender. Her legal name was changed to Caitlyn Marie Jenner by September 2015.
