Madonna has disclosed that, despite her forty years as the Queen of Pop, she spent days “struggling” with “producers and agents”
In an effort to minimize the scope of her self-directed, lengthy biopic about her life, which would feature Julia Garner.
After four years of work on the project, including an initial draft with Oscar-winning screenwriter Diablo Cody and subsequent revisions by Erin Cressida Wilson, Madonna posted an emotional message.
On Instagram Monday, revealing that she spent days “listening to producers and agents tell me why I couldn’t make my film.
” This was before Madonna paused the film, which was then scheduled for release via Universal, to go on her Celebration tour in 2023.
Those in charge urged her to “downsize-down scale -think smaller” in relation to the project, which purportedly covers.
Her early career in New York City as well as her ascent to fame in the late 1980s and early 1990s, the 66-year-old stated.
After saying, “I realized that everything in my life is going to be challenged,” Madonna went on. “I don’t like easy rides.
I suppose I should be appreciative. It compels me to think creatively. My life was not typical. I am unable to make this the conventional manner.
She went on to say that she spent time with friends and other creatives to rekindle her enthusiasm for the project, and they all agreed to “be even more fearless” in their efforts to see the movie through to completion.
“We cannot reduce ourselves in any way. After saying, “If you want something in life badly enough— the whole universe will conspire to [help].
You get it,” Madonna gave her followers a mysterious hint about the movie’s future by posing the question, “Should I make the story of my life into a series or a feature film?”
“Think before you answer !!” Madonna’s reps have been contacted by Entertainment Weekly for comment.

Following Cody’s completion of the film, Julia Fox, star of Uncut Gems, met with Madonna in January 2022 to discuss the possibility of playing her lifelong friend, actress Debi Mazar, in the film.
The actress first met the performer in an elevator at the Danceteria nightclub in New York City in the 1980s.
However, Fox just disclosed that she is not working on the current version of the film. When Madonna said in July that she will resume work on the biopic once her Celebration tour ended.
She posted a picture of the screenplay page with the probable title, Who’s That Girl, scrawled at the top.
If the movie goes ahead with that title, it would be a direct reference to Madonna’s 1987 comedy and the same-titled No. 1-charting soundtrack song.
