Next month, Delta Airlines will begin serving Shake Shack cheeseburgers.

Goodbye to pretzels and peanuts! A new culinary sensation is taking the world by storm.

A Shake Shack burger will soon be available to Delta Airlines passengers as their in-flight meal.

In a press release on Tuesday, November 19, Stephanie Laster, Managing Director of Onboard Service, stated.

“We are excited to enhance the offering with Shake Shack because our customers know that a delicious cheeseburger is an iconic comfort food, which is why burgers are one of the top ordered menu items we offer.”

But our relationship with Shake Shack isn’t just about the burger,” she said. “Our own brand values of service excellence and supporting the communities.

We serve are exactly aligned with Shake Shack’s people-first culture and dedication to improving their neighborhoods.”

The airline and burger chain’s partnership is the most recent development in Delta’s long-standing partnership with Union Square Hospitality Group (USHG) and Danny Meyer, the inventor of Shake Shack and USHG’s founder and executive chairman.

As early as December 1, the cheeseburgers will be offered solely on flights departing from Boston, with intentions to spread to “other U.S. markets throughout 2025.”

Unfortunately, only first-class passengers will be able to enjoy the all-American classic “on routes over 900 miles.”

The Shake Shack Cheeseburger is produced with 100% Angus beef and is “topped with cheese and served on a toasted potato bun.”

Eligible travelers can choose their entrée up to seven days prior to departure using the Fly Delta app or a link emailed to their email.

Along with chips, a Caesar salad, and a dark chocolate brownie “reminiscent of Shack Attack flavors from some of the brand’s dessert offerings.”

Other toppings including tomato, lettuce, and Shake Shack’s well-known ShackSauce will be served on the side.

The popular Shake Shack menu staples, such its milkshakes, hot dogs, and crinkle-cut fries, will not be available.
